Photos - Our Horses and a Pony
Roughly a dozen rescue horses and a pony reside at the
ranch for trail riding. One of our horses could be assigned to you whether you're joining us on a
leisurely trail ride or taking a riding lesson, while the pony is reserved for children under 6 years of age
to ride in our pasture.
Here are favorites of our customers in their winter
coats.

Rocket |
Rocket is 20 years old. Not only does the lead wrangler ride him on
longer rides into back country, but he's also a lesson horse. He can sense by the slightest body
movement of the rider which way to turn.

Hazel |
Hazel is a Missouri Foxtrotter. Although riding her is smooth as expected
for a gaited horse, the wranglers or more advanced students ride her, because she's not full trained for lesson
riding, nor has she been taken out that often for trail rides.

Crackerjack |
Crackerjack is a 17 year-old quarterhorse, who'll give his rider plenty of
times to trot, because his legs are shorter than most of the other horses, and he just doesn't like lagging behind
on off-trail rides.

OB |
OB is our Welsh pony for those under 6 years of age, since the minimum trail ride
age is 6 years old to ride a horse on a trail ride. Kids love riding him in our pasture.
